Who Created the First Ashuras?

Who Created the First Ashuras?

Friends, today we are going to go to that starting point of this entire universe, far away from the boundaries of time, space and space, where neither the sun existed, nor the cool light of the moon, nor the twinkling of the stars, nor the earth had any shape, nor was there any expanse of the infinite sky, all around there was only a deep mysterious void and the kingdom of dense darkness, but can you imagine friends, that the Almighty God whom we worship, by whose divine supreme consciousness this entire universe is operated and by whose mere will every particle of this universe is in motion, from the power of that same God, his immense brilliance, his Yoga Maya and from his part, the most fearsome, terrifying, powerful and destructive demons of this world were born.

Yes friends, today we are taking you to that most secret, profound and amazing chapter of history and religious scriptures where the father of gods and demons was not different but one and the same where both light and darkness emerged from the same divine ultimate source. Hold your breath friends because today’s detailed account will send shivers down your spine and introduce you to the ultimate truth of creation which will leave you stunned. In today’s special detailed and highly researched account, we will know in depth how the destructive consciousness of Lord Brahma, under the influence of his Rajoguna and Tamoguna, led to the appearance of the first demon.

We will understand in great detail the union of Maharishi Kashyap ji and revered Mata Dati ji in that impure period due to which the three world shaking demons like Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu were born and frightened the three worlds. With this, we will completely unravel the mythological and scientific mystery of how the determination to protect water gave birth to demons and Yakshas. How the imbalance of the gods’ ascetic power, ego and moral degradation gave rise to the all-destroying demons like Mahishasura, Raktabeej, Andhakasura, Tarakasura and Shumbha, Nishumbha. And how the Asuras were not really any external force but the very symbols of the destructive Tamomai of the God and the forces of material nature.

At the very beginning of the creation of the universe, when the great task of shaping this entire universe began with the divine will of the Supreme Brahma, then first of all the creator of the universe, the most revered Brahma Ji, manifested the seven sages, nine Prajapatis and Sankadik sages from his mental consciousness. Brahma’s aim was to create a universe full of diversity, where there is truth and untruth, where there is light and shadow. When Brahma started creating the universe, different types of energies started flowing from his mouth, chest, thighs and feet. From the Satvik part of Brahma Ji, gods appeared who became symbols of religion, restraint and divine light.

But sattvikta alone was not enough to maintain the balance of creation. Tamoguna and Rajoguna also needed the same to give shape to the material world. In this process, when Brahma ji was engrossed in meditation, a shadow of extremely heavy and intense energy filled with Tamaguna appeared from his body. That energy had immense power but it lacked wisdom and humility. Brahma saw that this energy was essential to create duality in the world. Later in the series of these Prajapatis, the great Maharishi Kashyap ji appeared who was the embodiment of knowledge, penance and sagehood. Maharishi Kashyap ji was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying forward the lineage of living beings in this universe.

Maharishi Kashyap ji was married to the very bright daughters of Prajapati Daksha ji. Among them were two prominent goddesses. Respected Mother Aditi ji and Respected Mother Aditi ji. Satvik consciousness and pure religion resided within Mata Aditi ji. Therefore, from her womb all the gods i.e. 12 Adityas were born who became the carriers of rules, restraint, sunlight and Satvik energy in the universe. But friends, the story of the birth of the demons is completely different, extremely mysterious, carousal and hair-raising. This incident is from the early period of Satyayuga. Once in the evening when the sun was setting and the entire nature, rivers, mountains and the three worlds were engrossed in the evening prayers, worship and meditation of Lord Mahadev.

A time which is considered extremely sacred in the scriptures and Puranas but completely impure, unfit and prohibited for the influence of Kamadeva. At that time, a strong desire to have a child arose in the mind of Mother Dati ji. Under the influence of lust, she went to her husband Maharishi Gyan Kashyap ji and started requesting him for a child. Maharishi Kashyap Ji, the supreme knowledgeable and accomplished seeker, saw the impurity of time with his divine vision and tried to explain it to Mother Diti Ji with utmost respect. Maharishi Kashyap ji said in a very sweet and serious voice, Devi Dati, please look carefully, this is the time of the visit of Lord Bhootnath Mahadev and his fierce followers.

At this time the entire nature becomes calm and meditates on God. If pregnancy occurs during this impure and unsuitable period, the child born will never follow religion, modesty and dignity. Rather, it will be extremely cruel, violent, arrogant and will cause immense suffering to the world. So, Goddess, have some patience. But friends, who could avoid the game of destiny ? The lust had taken over Mata Diti ji to such an extent that her stubbornness did not subside. She remained adamant on her stubbornness, disregarding the words of Maharishi Kashyap ji. Ultimately, Maharishi Kashyap ji was forced to accept his request. But due to the terrible effect of that very impure moment, such a terrible, fierce and dark light entered the womb of Mother Daati ji that it made the atmosphere of all the three worlds poisonous and completely dark in a moment.

That radiance was not that of any ordinary child but was the condensed form of darkness, ego and destruction. That light was so intense that it kept burning in the womb of Mother Diti ji for 100 years. Due to the effect of that womb, all the ten directions were filled with smoke. The glory of the gods began to wane and the sun ‘s brightness faded. When those children appeared after a harsh period of 100 years, they were not ordinary children. They were the great demons Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu. As soon as he was born, terrible disturbances started occurring in the entire universe. The earth started shaking. Huge waves like a terrible tsunami started rising in the sea. Huge rocks started falling from the mountains. Meteorites started falling in all directions and blood started raining from the sky.

Thus, from the lineage of the most revered sage like Maharishi Kashyap ji, but due to the impurity of time and the influence of the mother’s stubbornness, the seeds of the demon race were sown on this earth. Later, Hiranyaksha, with the power of his immense strength, terrified the three worlds and uprooted the earth and hid it in the abyss. To destroy him, Lord Shri Hari Vishnu ji had to take the incarnation of Varaha. Whereas his brother Hiranyakashipu, by doing severe penance to the most revered Brahma Ji, received such a boon that he could not be killed by any weapon. Not by weapon, not by day, not by night, not inside the house, not outside, not by man, not by animal. His ego increased so much that he declared himself God and started torturing his own son, devotee Prahlad ji.

When his atrocities crossed all limits, Lord Vishnu had to take the extremely fearsome Narasimha avatar to protect his supreme devotee Prahlad and to kill Hiranyakashipu. But friends, this was not the only lineage of the Asuras. Not only demons were included in the category of demons, but the demon and Yaksha races also originated from another form of Rajoguna and Tamoguna energy of Brahma Ji, which is an ultimate supernatural mystery in itself. According to the Puranas, when Brahma Ji created the vast water bodies i.e. the great oceans at the beginning of creation, he created many types of superhuman creatures for the protection, management and order of that infinite water.

After creating water, when Brahma ji asked those creatures what should be done with this water and what will you use it for? So a huge and fierce group of them said in a very harsh and fierce tone, Vaayam Raksham: Helps, meaning we will protect this water and establish our monopoly over it. Brahma Ji smilingly said that those who have a strong sense of protection will be called demons. On the other hand, another peaceful and humble group of beings folded their hands and said Vaayam Yakshamah, meaning we will worship this water and offer our prayers to it. Brahma ji named him Yaksha. Two very powerful brothers named Heti and Praheti became the first rulers of the demons. Heti chose the path of fear, violence, expansionism and weapons.

Heti was married to Bhaya, the daughter of Bhaya. From which was born a very cruel demon named Vidyutsh. Sal Katankata was married to Vidyut Kesh and in the same lineage came the lineage of Sumali, Malyavan, Subahu, Tadka and finally the wise but arrogant Ravana, Mahabali Kumbhakarna and all-powerful demons like Meghnath who committed great atrocities on sages and gods in Treta Yuga. Although both demons and devils are called demons in common language. But according to the scriptures there was a subtle difference. The demons were mainly the children of Mata Dati ji, who were gigantic in size, suffered from a sense of insecurity and had direct enmity towards the gods.

The demons were water protectors born from the Rajoguna and Tamoguna energies of Brahma Ji, who became symbols of unrighteousness due to their physical strength, magical powers and extreme cruelty. Together these two castes had established the empire of unrighteousness and mischief in all the three worlds. The origin of the Asuras was not limited to physical birth or lineage, friends, but they had a deep and impenetrable connection with the powers of God himself, the moral degradation of the gods and the physics of cosmic balance. According to the most secret secrets of the Puranas, the Asuras were not some external evil separate from God or coming from outside. He himself was the embodiment of the tamasic Maya of the Supreme Brahma, Lord Narayana and Brahma.

Whenever the gods became extremely proud of their immortality, their beauty, their ascetic power and being the king of heaven. Whenever the gods, in the midst of their infinite power, insulted the revered sages or crossed the limits of Dharma, then from that very unrighteousness and moral imbalance new Asuras were born and those Asuras gained immense power to punish the gods. For example, look at the mystery of the origin of the mighty Mahishasura. Mahishasura was born from the unique union of an Asura named Rambha and a Mahisha, i.e., a water buffalo. The reason behind his birth was the boon of Lord Brahma himself which Rambha had received through severe penance. God himself gave him that power so that he could crush the ego of the gods.

When Devraj Indra and other gods indulged in their pleasures and forgot their duties, Mahishasura challenged the powers of the Trinity and attacked heaven and ousted Devraj Indra from his throne. All the ego of the gods was shattered by the blow of Mahishasura’s donkey. Then, from the combined divine energy of the gods, Adi Mula Parashakti Maa Durga appeared. Who re-established religion by killing Mahishasura. Similarly, the story of the great demon named Tarakasura is also very amazing. Tarakasura performed extremely severe penance to Lord Brahma and asked for the boon that his death could only happen at the hands of the son of Lord Shiva himself. He knew that after the burning of Mother Sati, Mahadev was absorbed in supreme meditation and their marriage was impossible.

With the help of this boon, Tarakasura created havoc in all the three worlds and expelled the gods from heaven. Mother Parvati appeared on the call of the gods and thereafter Lord Kartikeya was born from the radiance of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Who killed Tarakasura and freed the universe from his terror. Similarly, the creation of the great demon named Rakta Beej symbolized the uncontrolled biological regeneration power of darkness which had the supreme power of the blessings of Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma himself. As soon as a single drop of blood fell on the earth from the body of Raktabeej, from that drop of blood a very powerful demon, equipped with huge weapons like him, would be born.

Whenever the God attacked him on the battlefield, thousands of new blood seeds were born from his blood. Due to which there was chaos in the entire army. This was a clear authentic example of the fact that the destructive and uncontrolled biological energy hidden within nature is also an essential part of God’s vast creation. Ultimately Mother Goddess Kali killed him by drinking all his blood in her skull. In the same sequence, the origin of great demons like Shum and Nishumbha and their immortality were also based on the severe penance of Lord Brahma himself and the boons given by him. He represented the very power of God that arises from excessive attachment, ego and ego of life.

It is clearly mentioned in the mythological texts that whenever the Satvikta increases excessively in this universe and the balance of the creation starts getting disturbed or whenever the influence of Adharma increases, then God, by making the demons the medium of his own Tamomai Maya, gives impetus to the process of destruction, change and re-balance. The story of Andhakasur is also very amazing. Andhakasura was born from the sweat drop of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. When Mother Parvati closed the eyes of Mahadev while playing and darkness spread across the entire universe. That child born from darkness was called Andhakasur who was later given to Hiranyaksha.

Andhakasura became so powerful that he dared to attack Kailash himself. After which Lord Shiva himself killed him with his trident and purified his consciousness. The demons were actually an extension of the fierce, destructive and physical form of God that holds this visible world together. If God gave the gods the supreme knowledge of his soul, the Satvik light, the feeling of truth and religion, then he gave the demons the infinite strength of his body, the Tamoguna of nature, illusory powers and the amazing ability to control the material objects. This was the reason that whether it was the great demon Hiranyakashipu, the king of Lanka Ravana, Mahishasura or Banasur, all of them had such divine weapon systems, magical knowledge and great powers which even the ordinary gods did not have.

They all became invincible and immortal only by doing severe penance for thousands of years to Lord Brahma or Lord Narayana himself. That is, the original source of his immense power was none other than God himself. From this entire origin story of the demons, we understand the clear and ultimate truth that duality is absolutely necessary in this universe. If there is no darkness at night, then the light of day has no value. If there is no untruth, the glory of truth cannot be realized. If there were no demons, the purity of the gods, the restraint of the sages and the manifestation of the supernatural glory of the incarnations of God himself would never have been possible.

All the divine incarnations that Lord Shri Hari Vishnu Ji took on this earth, be it the Varaha incarnation that took the earth out of water, or the fearsome form of Bambha Narasimha that appeared by tearing the pillar, or the incarnation of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram in Treta Yuga, or the form of Yogeshwar Shri Krishna in Kotug, the main basis of all those divine incarnations was to destroy the immense power of these demons and the unrighteousness committed by them. Thus the Asuras were actually very important characters in the grand plan of God who took form from time to time to maintain the balance of sin and virtue, axis and unrighteousness in the universe.
