Who Tried to Stop Hanuman ?
Who Tried to Stop Hanuman ?
That night, for the first time in the battle of Lanka, fear was seen in the eyes of Shri Ram because Lakshman was standing at the door of death and to stop Hanuman who had come to save him, Ravana had called a demon whom even the demons themselves feared. Kaal Nemi, the lord of illusion, the demon of deceit, a demon who can destroy his enemies even without fighting. The battlefield of Lanka was plunged into a terrifying silence. The broken chariots were burning. The sea breeze carried the smell of ash and blood. The injured monkeys were lying on the ground and amidst that destruction Lakshmana was slowly losing his life. He was seriously injured by Meghnath’s divine Shakti weapon. His breathing had weakened. For the first time, Shri Ram was looking helpless. He was on his knees with Lakshmana’s head in his lap. Because Lakshman was not only his brother. He was his biggest supporter, his protector and his shadow. Then Sushen, the great physician of the monkeys, came forward. He examined Lakshman and said in a serious tone that Sanjeevani herb would have to be brought from Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas before sunrise. Otherwise Lakshman will not survive. The entire army was stunned. The Himalayas were far away and the night was passing fast. But then a huge figure stepped forward. Hanuman. There was fire burning in his eyes. I will bring Sanjeevani. The monkey army started roaring with hope. Shri Ram looked at Hanuman with silent trust. Hanuman folded his hands and said, I will return before sunrise. Rama placed his hand on his head and the next moment Hanuman climbed a mountain peak. His body started becoming huge. The winds howled, the trees bent. Then with a terrible roar Hanuman jumped into the sky. With his power the mountains trembled, the clouds burst and he moved towards the Himalayas like a burning meteor. Meanwhile, Ravana was standing restlessly in the golden palace of Lanka. He was confident that Lakshman would not survive now. But as Hanuman left, fear returned to his mind because he knew that if Lakshmana survived then the destruction of Lanka was certain. Then suddenly a dark voice echoed in the assembly hall. Why is the great Ravana so worried? The flame of the torches flickered and came out of the darkness. Kaal Nemi was tall, wrapped in frightening black robes, his eyes glowing like embers. Ravana said in a low voice, Hanuman has gone out to bring Sanjeevani. If they succeed, everything will be over. If they are moving towards the mountain, don’t let them reach the mountain. Ravana moved towards him. Can you stop Hanuman? Kalanemi remained calm for a few moments because he knew that fighting Hanuman directly was like inviting death. But Kalanemi fought with deceit and not with power. I don’t need to defeat them, he said softly. I just have to hold out until sunrise. Hope returned to Ravana’s eyes because this was enough. If Hanuman had delayed, Lakshman would have died. Kaal Nemi looked at the black energy swirling around his fingers and said, I will create such an illusion that even Hanuman himself will believe it. Hanuman was flying at a fast speed over the oceans and mountains. There was only one name in his mind, Lakshman. Every moment was valuable. But at the same time Kalanemi had already laid his trap. There was a cursed forest between Lanka and the Himalayas. Where no bird sang and no creature wandered. Kalanemi landed there and raised both his hands. Dark energy spread all around. Dry trees turned into lush green gardens. A beautiful lake appeared. The temple bells started ringing. Within a few moments a divine ashram stood there. Then Kalanemi changed his demonic form. Now there sat a quiet old Arashi. White beard, saffron clothes and rosary in hands. But behind that calm face lurked a deadly demon. While flying in the sky, Hanuman suddenly heard the sound of mantras. He looked down. A shining ashram was visible amidst the dense forest. Hanuman stopped for a few moments. Ashram in this deserted place. Then the thought came to his mind that perhaps this Arshi knows the way to Sanjeevani. They immediately came down. As soon as Hanuman reached near the ashram, Kalanemi opened his eyes and for a moment he himself became frightened. Hanuman’s brilliance was extremely intense. But he immediately smiled and said, welcome brave monkey. Hanuman folded his hands respectfully. Maharshi I am looking for the Sanjivani herb. The life of a great warrior depends on it. I know. The whole universe is watching your journey tonight. Then he pointed towards the lake. You have come from a very far distance. First take the water of this holy lake. Then I will show you the way. Hanuman remained in deep thought for a few moments. If this Aarsh was telling the truth, they could have saved time. Kaal smiled inwardly because beneath that calm lake lay a horrifying secret. A huge cursed crocodile attacked Hanuman as soon as he touched the water and that was just enough time as sunrise was approaching. Hanuman slowly reached the bank of the lake. The water was shining like silver in the moonlight. Everything was quiet, but something was moving beneath the water. Some hungry, some deadly. As soon as Hanuman bent down to touch the water, suddenly two shining eyes opened inside the water. The calm water of the lake suddenly started boiling. As Hanuman bent down to touch the water, a huge crocodile monster exploded out of the water. His jaws could break stones. The eyes were burning with demonic hunger. He pounced straight on Hanuman. But Hanuman moved forward with lightning speed. He grabbed her upper jaw with one hand and her lower jaw with the other. The earth cracked from the force of the attack. Huge waves arose in the lake. The crocodile tried with all its might to pull them into the water. But Hanuman stood firm like a mountain. Hanuman understood at that very moment. This was no ordinary creature. Black demonic energy was emanating from his body. The demon roared again and the next moment Hanuman pulled apart both his jaws with tremendous force. A terrifying sound echoed throughout the forest. The huge body fell into the lake. But as he died, his demonic form began to transform into golden light. Hanuman stepped back a little. Gradually a divine woman appeared from that light. Like a goddess shining with jewellery. He folded his hands and said, O mighty Hanuman, you have freed me from the curse. Hanuman asked in a calm voice, “Who are you?” Pain came into his eyes. I was once an angel from heaven. I had ridiculed the penance of a sage and he cursed me to live as a crocodile in this lake. She paused for a moment. He had said that only the greatest devotee of Shri Ram would give me salvation. Hanuman remained silent. But then the nymph’s face turned serious. Hanuman, be careful. This entire ashram is an illusion. The sage sitting there is not a sage. He is Kalanemi. Ravana has sent him to stop you till sunrise. There was silence in the forest for a few moments. Hanuman slowly turned towards the ashram. The sound of bells was still echoing there. But she didn’t seem holy anymore. Unholy and poisonous. The Apsara quickly said, The longer you stay here, the closer Lakshmana will get to death. Hanuman’s fists tightened as soon as he heard Lakshman’s name. Now he had understood. How dangerous was this deception. Apsara folded her hands. Go away from here immediately. Hanuman bowed his head. Thank you Goddess. With golden light it slowly disappeared into the sky. Now there was only a terrible silence left and amidst that silence Hanuman started moving towards the fake ashram. His every step was shaking the earth. Meanwhile, Kaal Nemi immediately understood. Hanuman has come to know the truth. For the first time, fear arose within him. But she still continued to act the cool Arashi. Hanuman came and stopped in front of him. Kalanemi opened his eyes with a fake smile. Did the holy water bring peace to your mind? The brave monkey Hanuman kept looking at him for a few moments. Then he said, stop this deceitful demon. With these words the atmosphere became heavy. So that angel told everything. How dare you impersonate a sage? Kalanemi slowly stood up. His calm aura began to break. And how dare you come in the way of Ravana’s fate? Get out of the way. I don’t have time and I won’t let you go any further. Suddenly the entire illusion started to break down. The beautiful flowers rotted. The water of the lake turned black. The walls of the ashram started turning into smoke. The music of the birds turned into terrifying screams. In a few moments the quiet ashram had once again become a cursed forest and he stood in the middle of it. The real form of Kaal Nemi Huge body Black armor Long horns Hell like fire in the eyes Black energy started swirling around him You should have taken rest Hanuman because now you will not go from here alive But Hanuman stood calm because now every moment was important for him. A golden aura started emanating from his body. Then he said softly, you made a mistake. The eyes of the demon Kaal Nemi narrowed. You have forgotten whose name resides in my heart. As soon as Hanuman remembered Shri Ram, the entire forest trembled. His divine energy shot out like an explosion. The black smoke dispersed. The trees were broken. This was not ordinary power. This was the power of devotion and the demons could never understand it. Kalanemi roared with anger. Suddenly dozens of his confused forms appeared throughout the forest. His laughter echoed from every direction. Let’s see if you can defeat Maya herself. Hundreds of fake Kaal Navy attacked Hanuman. But Hanuman closed his eyes and remembered Shri Ram. The next moment, all illusions vanished like smoke. Now only the real Kalne was left there. Before the demon could understand anything, Hanuman’s punch landed directly on his chest. The blow was so terrible that Kaal Nemi fell across the forest. The rocks broke. Trees were uprooted. But Hanuman did not stop because time was his biggest enemy. Kalanemi stood up again. Black blood was flowing from his mouth. He raised both his hands and black lightning shot towards Hanuman. But Hanuman moved straight ahead, tearing through that attack. For the first time, true fear appeared on Kalanemi’s face because now he understood. Hanuman was not fighting out of anger. They were fighting to protect what they loved, and nothing would be more dangerous than that. In his last attempt, Kalanemi spread the entire illusion. The sky was filled with darkness. The earth appeared to be turning into lava. Huge demonic faces emerged in the clouds. But Hanuman roared. Jai Shri Ram. That sound shattered the entire illusion. The false sky broke. The illusion ended and the next moment Hanuman caught hold of Kalanemi’s neck. The demon started struggling with all his might. But Hanuman’s grip was unbreakable. Kalanemi looked into his eyes and there he saw his death. Hanuman’s voice echoed throughout the forest. No illusion can stand in front of truth. Then he swung Kalanemi in the air and threw him towards the sky with full force. The demon flew like a burning meteor straight towards Lanka. Meanwhile, in Ravana’s court, the palace suddenly shook and the next moment, Kalanemi’s broken body fell in the middle of the royal court. The pillars broke. The demons retreated in fear. Ravana stood up from his throne. In front of him lay the defeated Kaal Nemi. The demon said in his broken breath, Hanuman, he cannot be stopped. And with those words it ended. There was silence in the entire gathering. Ravana’s fists slowly went away as well because now his biggest fear seemed to be coming true. Hanuman was still moving towards the Himalayas and sunrise was slowly approaching. Hanuman was moving forward like a burning comet, tearing through the night sky. The winds howled around them. The clouds were bursting with their speed. The forest and mountains below were visible only as dim shadows. But now the night was coming to an end. The sky in the east started turning light golden. Dawn was approaching and far away in the battlefield of Lanka, Lakshmana’s life was fading with each passing moment. Hanuman increased his speed further. The sky trembled with the pressure of their flight. The clouds went bursting behind like an explosion. Then finally they appeared on the horizon. The Himalayas are vast, ancient and divine. The snow-capped peaks pierced the sky. Icy winds roared in the valleys. Silvery rivers shone beneath the mountains, hidden somewhere among those sacred peaks. Sanjeevani was the herb that could defeat even death. As soon as Hanuman descended the mountains, the entire earth trembled. The ice broke off from the rocks and began to fall down. The trees bent violently. The entire Himalayas became silent for a few moments. Then Hanuman immediately started searching. His eyes started darting in every direction. But the Himalayas were endless. Thousands of divine herbs were shining in the moonlight. Something was emitting blue light. Something was glowing with green light. A golden mist was rising from some. The entire mountain seemed alive. Hanuman started running from one peak to another. But the problem was serious. They did not know. Which is Sanjeevani? Sushen had described it. But every other herb here looked divine. Time was passing quickly. On the other hand, the battlefield of Lanka now seemed hopeless. The monkey army stood silently. The fires had slowed down. The sea breeze also felt heavy. Sushen again checked Lakshman’s pulse and this time fear appeared on his face. Time is running out. Ram was sitting silently. Lakshman’s head was still in her lap. He almost stopped breathing. Sugreeva, standing nearby, was looking at the sky worriedly. Angad’s fists had tightened. Jamwan was praying with his eyes closed. Now everyone was waiting for just one person. Hanuman, there in the Himalayas, Hanuman was still searching anxiously. One rock, another valley, a third peak, but each time the disappointment grew stronger, the icy winds became stronger. Then suddenly a deep voice echoed in the mountains. Who has dared to disturb the sacred mountain? Hanuman immediately turned. On a high icy rock stood a divine protector. Huge body, shining armor, heavenly spear in hand, eyes shining like frozen stars. This mountain is the heritage of the gods. The herbs here maintain balance. No one can touch them. Hanuman folded his hands respectfully. I don’t want anything for myself. Shri Ram’s brother Lakshman is near death. Sanjeevani is needed to save them. On hearing the name of Ram, the guard became quiet for a few moments. But still he said that if the wrong herb is removed then the balance of nature can be disturbed. Hanuman looked towards the rising sky. Dawn was nearer now. I don’t have time. Do a quick search. Pawanputra Hanuman again started searching. But now gradually anxiety started creeping into him. He could destroy armies of demons. Could break mountains. Could cross the ocean. But I was unable to identify one herb and this helplessness was the most terrible. The sky started becoming brighter. Hanuman’s breathing became heavy. Then Laxman’s face appeared in his mind. Ram’s pain and his words, I will return before sunrise. Hanuman stood absolutely still for a few moments. Then a decision arose within him. If they cannot recognize Sanjeevani then they will take the entire mountain with them. Hanuman slowly opened his eyes. Now they only had resolve. The Divine Protector immediately sensed that change. The winds suddenly became fierce. Hanuman moved towards the middle of the mountain and then his body started becoming huge and his muscles became huge and hard like mountains. A golden aura started emanating from the body. The earth began to crack beneath our feet. Snow storms began to swirl around. Within a few moments Hanuman himself started appearing taller than the mountains. The divine protector stepped back in disbelief as there was no longer just a monkey in front of him. That was a living resolution. Hanuman bowed down and placed both his hands under the mountain. The entire Himalayas trembled. Rivers started overflowing. The trees were shaken to their roots. Roars echoed through the valleys. The sages doing penance far away opened their eyes. What kind of power is this? Hanuman roared Jai Shri Ram. His voice echoed to the heavens and then he began to lift the mountain. Nothing happened at first. Then slowly the earth started cracking. Huge cracks spread down the mountain. The rocks started breaking and falling into the valleys. The roots of Dronagiri started separating from the earth. The divine protector was stunned as the impossible was becoming possible. Hanuman applied more force. The veins in his arms glowed like fire. Then with one final, terrifying roar he uprooted the entire mountain from the earth. The entire Himalayan region trembled. Now Hanuman was standing with a huge mountain raised above his head. The light of the herbs spread across the sky. That scene seemed like a dream. A warrior who stood carrying the mountain of life itself. Even the gods in heaven started watching this scene with surprise. Indra was silent, Ashish was stunned and Vayudev was smiling with pride because his son was not just lifting the mountain today. He was raising hope. Hanuman did not waste even a moment. Carrying the mountain above him, he leaped into the sky again. The force of his leap shattered the surrounding peaks. The clouds parted and now Hanuman himself was returning to Lanka with life. Meanwhile, in the battlefield, the first rays of sunrise had started touching the horizon. Sushen’s face had become serious. Ram was still sitting near Lakshman. The monkey army had almost given up hope. Then suddenly Jambavan opened his eyes. He felt something. The winds had changed. A huge force was moving towards Lanka. The monkey army slowly looked up at the sky and there above the clouds they saw a huge glowing shadow. A flying mountain and Hanuman below it. The sky above Lanka trembled with the roar. Dark clouds began to swirl over the battlefield. The monkey army looked up in surprise and it seemed as if some divine power itself was descending from the sky. Hanuman had returned. Holding the entire mountain above his head. The green and golden light of the herbs illuminated the entire sky. The sea trembled. The winds started roaring. Even the demons of Lanka were stunned with fear as the impossible had possible. Hanuman returned with the mountain of life. The entire battlefield trembled as soon as he landed. The earth cracked. Huge dust storms started rising and the next moment the entire monkey army echoed with cheers. Jai Shri Ram. Hope had returned for the first time since Lakshman was injured. Hanuman carefully placed the mountain in front of Sushen. The ancient physician immediately stepped forward. His eyes sparkled. Countless divine herbs were shining on the mountain. Sushen immediately started searching for Sanjeevani. The battlefield became quiet again. Every moment seemed endless. Rama was still sitting holding Lakshmana’s hand. But now hope had returned to his eyes. Hanuman stepped forward and folded his hands and said, Lord, please forgive me for the delay. Ram looked at him. There was only gratitude in their eyes because Hanuman had done what no one else could do. He challenged the time itself. Meanwhile, Ravana was standing on the balcony of the palace watching this scene. The monkey army hailing the shining mountain. Jai Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram. And returning hope he understood it all. Time Nemi had failed. Ravana’s fists started shaking with anger. But deep inside he understood a terrible truth. As long as Hanuman is with Ram. Victory will not be easy. Meanwhile, Sushen finally got the life-saving medicine. A divine herb that was shining with supernatural light. He immediately prepared its juice. Within a moment its fragrance spread throughout the battlefield. The wounded apes felt their strength returning. The winds changed. As if nature itself has awakened. Sushen gave that medicine to Lakshmana. The entire battlefield watched with bated breath. Nothing happened for a few moments. Then suddenly Lakshman’s fingers moved slightly. Sugreeva moved forward. Angad’s eyes widened. Ram immediately bowed down. Lakshmana took a deep breath. Then the effect of the second power weapon slowly began to fade away. The color returned to his face and he finally slowly opened his eyes. The entire battlefield remained silent for a few moments. Then the monkey army echoed with the roar of victory. Jai Shri Ram. Hail to Lord Ram Hail to Lord Hanuman. Hail to Lord Ram Hail to Lord Hanuman. Rama immediately embraced Lakshmana. The fear and pain had vanished from his face. Lakshman said in a weak voice, brother Ram closed his eyes because that night he felt the fear of losing his beloved brother. Hanuman was standing silently nearby. No pride, no ego, only devotion. Jambavan smiled. This world will always remember this night. And indeed no one had crossed the ocean before Hanuman. The demons were not defeated. He had not lifted the mountain and had not returned after defeating death. Ravana was standing alone there. The cheers of the monkey army were echoing in the air and for the first time the king of Lanka understood that this war was not just about weapons. Rama inspired a devotion that was more powerful than fear, and Hanuman was living proof of that. Slowly the golden rays of sunrise started spreading over Lanka. The dreadful night was over. Hanuman looked towards the rising sun. Then he folded his hands in front of Ram. Ram came to him and placing his hand on his shoulder said, Hanuman, I can never repay the debt of this favour of yours. My life is only for your service Lord. The winds of the battlefield slowly began to blow. Silence fell all around because there was only no friendship there. There was no loyalty. That was pure devotion. Such devotion could defeat even darkness itself and that is why this story of Hanuman and Kalanemi became immortal because that night a demon tried to stop Asha. Tried to stop faith. He himself tried to stop fate. But no darkness can stop the person in whose heart resides the name of Shri Ram.
