Why Did Lord Vishnu Become a FISH?

Why Did Lord Vishnu Become a FISH?

Om Surya Namah Om Surya Namah Om Surya Namah Om Surya Namah Vam Bhaskar Vam Jagat Prakash Aditya Oh King, save me Oh King, help me. Save me. This fish is talking. O King, do not leave me in this river. There are huge, violent aquatic creatures here that will swallow a weakling like me. I am extremely scared. It is the supreme duty of a Kshatriya to protect the one who has surrendered. Rajan, will you protect me ? I will never abandon anyone who comes to me for refuge. I give you protection.

King Satyavrat was not only the ruler of an empire but also the living symbol of religion and compassion. Every creature who came under his protection felt safe. So after giving assurance to that little fish, he brought it with him to the palace. Let the meeting begin. O King, please protect me. O King, please protect me. O King, now this place is not enough for me. Please give me a place in a bigger vessel. But King Satyavrat did not know that the small creature whom he had pledged to protect was soon going to

reveal the secret of the future of the entire universe. O King, even this place is not enough for me anymore. Please help me. The well in which King Satyavrata gave safe shelter to that fish became too small for it within a few moments. The astonished king took him out from there and led him towards a huge lake. But it seemed as if there was no limit to the expansion of that fish. O King, even this place is not enough for me anymore. Please help me. But when even the lake became too small for that fish,

then King Satyavrat became even more surprised. With the help of many soldiers, that fish was placed on a huge horse cart and taken to the Kritmala river. But this was just another phase of that wonderful play. O King, even this place is no longer enough for me. Please help me. Now the fish had become so huge that the horses became unable to pull its weight. Ultimately, with the tireless efforts of many elephants and soldiers, it was taken from the Kritamala River to the ocean. But now the same question was arising again and again in the mind of King Satyavrat. Is

this really an ordinary fish or some inaccessible play of God Himself? O Lord, I understand that you are not an ordinary fish. It is not possible for any natural creature to fill the entire water body from the kamandalu to this vast ocean in a single day. I am convinced that you are the true original man, Lord Narayana. Oh Lord, show me your true form. What is the purpose of this incarnation? O Satyavrata, you have recognized the truth. Listen Rajan, exactly seven days from today, a great deluge will come upon this entire animate and inanimate world.

Destructive clouds will roar. The ocean will break its limits and submerge the three worlds. Earth, nature and self: everything will be dissolved in this deluge. Therefore, O King, you will have to build a huge boat. To seat the Saptdarshis on it. One pair of each animal, seed of each plant and medicine. Load everything onto that boat and board it. When the storm of destruction shakes the boat, I myself will bring Vasuki Naak with me. Tie the tail of Vasuki to the front of the boat. And Vasuki will himself wrap his mouth around my prong.

Then I will lead that boat safely through the deep waters of the deluge. Keep remembering me, I will come. Listen, listen, listen, this is the order of Maharaj Satyavrat. Exactly seven days from today, the Great Deluge will arrive. A huge boat is being built to protect all living beings. Therefore, all the people of the state should immediately present themselves at the beach with their necessary equipment. This is the order of King Satyavrata. Having received the Lord’s permission King

Satyavrata began preparations without losing a moment. The construction of the huge boat continued day and night. The Saptarishis went from forest to forest to collect rare medicinal plants and their seeds so that life could sprout again after the deluge. On the other hand, the pairs and subjects of the electric creature were carefully taken to the boat. Time was very short but every effort was inspired by the hope of a new creation.

And before we knew it, the moment arrived for which God had warned seven days ago. The sky was covered with heavy clouds. The directions trembled with the roar of thunder. The heavy rain broke the limits of rivers and sea. The boat started to sway amidst the huge waves. All around there was only the horror of destruction. Oh Narayan. O Lord of the Universe And in that same darkness King Satyavrata was waiting for the arrival of the Lord. Narayana O Narayana,

protect those who have taken refuge in you. I’m here too. Vasuki and the Lord arrived. Tie the boat to their tails. Slowly the waters of the deluge began to recede. Life once again set foot on the sacred land of the Himalayas. O King, you have fulfilled your duty, protected the one who sought refuge, saved the world, from today you are Vaivasvata Manu. Lord of this new Manvantar, it is now your responsibility to re-establish the life of the first man of this new creation.

O Lord, I am blessed. Animals and birds became free again. The Saptarishis lit the sacred fire of Yagya and resolved to start a new creation. Thus, the Matsya incarnation of God not only protected the creation but also re-established the eternal light of religion, knowledge and life.
